Snapchat Launches Advanced Mode For Self-Serve Ad Manager

snap

Snapchat has released a new ad manager mode similar to Facebook’s Power Editor.

Snap Inc launched its self-serve ad manager back in May, in an effort to boost the platform’s advertising prowess.

This new Advanced Mode for the Ad Manager brings a number of new features to help advertisers build, manage and scale their campaigns.

This includes the ability to create hundreds of permutations of custom audiences and variants of ad creatives.

Advertisers can also create and manage ads in bulk, either by using one of Snapchat’s spreadsheet templates, or by importing their own spreadsheet “to quickly create new campaigns, ad sets, and ads at scale.”

Snapchat has also introduced a new media library where advertisers can upload videos, images, and other assets to use in their campaigns.

In addition to this, Advanced Mode offers more control over ad analytics, with in-table pivoting and customised exports.

The tool is currently being rolled out to select advertisers, with a wider released planned for later this month.

Earlier this week, Hinge spoke about the success it saw with a Snapchat campaign where the dating company created custom Snapchat geofilters for single people at weddings.

Hinge were so impressed with the Snapchat campaign’s results that its VP of marketing said Facebook would likely no longer be a signature part of their budget or strategy in the future.
