Global Personals 5th In The Sunday Times International Growth List

Global Personals

Global Personals has been ranked 5th in a list by The Sunday Times recognising the international growth of UK businesses.

The HSBC International Track 200 acknowledges the international sales of private mid-market British companies.

The list is based on the last two years of audited accounts.

Global Personals is the only dating company in the list, and has risen eight places, seeing an international growth of 180%.

The company operates in seven English-speaking countries, including Australia, USA and Canada.

Ross Williams, CEO and founder of Global Personals, said:

“I am exceptionally proud of my team for enabling Global Personals to be named among UK technology companies bridging the international trade gap; our recognition in The Sunday Times International Track 200 reaffirms that.”

Global Personals were placed above Mind Candy – makers of Moshi Monsters – Skyscanner, Wiggle and The Hut Group.

The fastest growing company award was given to Tandom Metallurgical Group, who export containers of scrap cables and electronics to processors in China and India.

Ian Stuart, Head of HSBC UK Commercial Banking, said:

“The Sunday Times International Track 200 continues to provide an interesting insight into the important contribution privately-owned mid-market companies make to the UK economy, and this year’s league table symbolises the dynamism and innovation this group of companies with international ambitions are famed for.”
