eHarmony Launches New Six Week ‘Crash Course’ For Happiness

School Of Happiness

With the new year now upon us, dating site eHarmony is looking to help people achieve their 2017 goals with a new “crash course” for happiness.

The California-based dating company, founded in 2000, has launched School of Happiness, which seeks to “spread happiness in the New Year by helping people to achieve their personal and relationship goals.”

The “six week crash course” consists of various classes focusing on different aspects of happiness, including Emotional Wellbeing, Physical Health, Love Life, Pain Points, #CoupleGoals and Finding Love.

The new site, which launched on 1st January, includes advice from experts like psychologist Dr. Linda Papadopoulos, and comes with downloadable PDF worksheets designed to help people track their progress.

eHarmony spokesperson Rachael Lloyd said: “We know that January can be a tough time of year, with people revaluating their life goals and trying to enact positive changes.

“But our own research indicates one in eight UK adults (12%) have given up on love, and almost half of that number feel there’s nobody out there for them, a sad and often misplaced perception we’re keen to challenge.

“That’s why we’ve launched the School of Happiness, which aims to help people make positive, mood-boosting changes to their lives, whether they are looking to find a partner or enrich their current relationship.”

The campaign lasts until 13th February, and information on how to get involved will be posted across the company’s social media channels.

Before the Christmas period, eHarmony implemented a set of big changes to the dating product, making its famous questionnaire option, adding real-time chat and introducing a new compatibility scoring.
